Made three runs today and set a personnal best at Famoso Dragstrip, my home strip.....not my best ET ever, but the best I've ever ran at Famoso. Previous best here was 12.37 (I think). Anyway the air was pretty good today, but we had a slight headwind so speeds were a little slow for me. The starting line was real good as they are getting ready for next weekend's Famous March Meet. First run at noon (DA was 908'), second run at 2pm ( DA was 1049') and the third run at about 4pm ( DA was 1056'). Lots of Pro cars and Nostalgia Funny Cars and Rails , so plenty of cool down between runs. Results were: Run 1: 1.739 60', 7.774 @ 88.83mph 1/8th, 12.148 @ 112.62mph in the 1/4 mile. Run 2: 1.736 60', 7.746 @ 88.78 mph 1/8th, 12.106 @ 113.20mph (my new best at Famoso). Run 3: 1.730 60', 7.764 @ 87.81 mph 1/8th, 12.135 @ 113.57 mph.
Just a sidenote, when I checked the corrected NHRA factor for run number 2 it corrected to ........... 11.977 @ 114.421:rock:  I wish I could claim that as my new record but I can't, but even so that is the quickest I have made in the truck based on NHRA correction. My real personnal best at Sacramento which was last Jan @ 12.024 corrected to a 12.01 ( because the air was near perfect that day). All in all a good day.....but no SRTBrad.....so no video, sorry guys.:dontknow:
