For those that are interested, 1320 video did a cool video about Tom Bailey's 69 Camaro that won drag week this year. Enjoy!

I hate to say this but, I agree with larson thats not a street car. Not the way a drag week car should be.

He did everything they asked of him. Where is the line between street and race? It has cup holders!!!

That is Sick!!! Hopefully next year the Ram Srt10 will make it's mark at Drag Week. What say you Dom?

I am trying very hard to be there to witness it. I have something new I may roll out for Drag Week..... :D

the light weight body, street cars should have the appearance of a stock car. Not a fiberglass pro mod body.

I agree to a point, but I feel the idea of a "street" car has shifted since the days of stock bodied cars. If you can get away with running these cars on the street, why not? Seeing a somewhat stock bodied car like Larsen's run in the 6s is so much cooler though.

Like my autobody teacher used to say, "steel is real, but glass is fast". I don't see much more street car in Mr. Larson's Nova than I do in that Camaro. Regardless, they are both amazing cars. The coolest thing about either of them is that Larry occasionally drives the Nova to work. No denying that's a street car.

Interesting HP number on the Camaro. Put 2150 to the wheels.

If its driven on the street.....well, its a street car..Drag week is all about the different classes....and well, this is unlimited!!!!..Larry Larson is and always will be Drag Week Champion tho!!!

I have been to a few street meets in my day, never once have I seen a car that looked like this. Larsons car looks like a tubed Bellaire, not a pro stock cookie cutter body.

cool car, just not my style I guess

I think it looks more like a tubbed nova:D

If it can drag a trailer from race track to race track then turn 7 & 6's. It's a street/freeway car. 11 MPG is what I get on my 10 & just barely turn 7's. lol

Thatz a fun life......in the 6's and drivin the highways with a trailer.......
