Been trying forever to get this thing in the 6's on pump gas. This is the second .01 Ive got trying to do it. Went .0X all weekend at two different tracks and couldnt make it happen.

that's the L i'm guessing...

but reaction time doesn't attribute to overall time... the clock starts when the vehicle trips the lights when you leave, and stops when you cross the lights at the top end...

you can sit there for 5 min's and run a 10 sec. 1/4 if they'd let you...

chris,

can you leave a touch harder on the converter? get that 1.52 down just a hundredth??

What he said, I only concentrate on reaction time when I'm trying to beat the other guy, I take my time when I'm testing. There's a lot you can do like shallow staging to help cut a good 60ft.

1.52 is the best its ever done on the 93 tune. If I stalled the truck anymore it would push through the brakes.

It was low 50's when I got the .01 on sunday night and upper 40's Saturday night when I got a .03. Much colder than that and Id think the track would start going away.

Is this in full street trim? Seems like the answer is losing another 1/200lbs. Good luck, get some video.

Not full on street trim but damn close. I switch out the stock rear wheel for some 15" Bogarts with 315/60/15 MT's. I also mounted some lighter (but not by much) 16" wheels up front and removed my tailgate. I need some 15" Bogart front runners bad.

I ran a .03 the previous night with the stock front wheels and tailgate still on at a different track.

This is a much more positive response than I thought Id get considering this was done in a L and I appreciate that.

Thought about going to full blown slicks with front runners? Also have you done any weight reduction at all?

Ive tried 28" slicks on my old 16" wheels but havent yet on the 15's. Dont know that I will either. I know a guy with a L cutting 1.2X 60's on MT's.

I do have some minor weight reduction but I gained most of it back with my stereo equipment.

Heres a vid of a 7.03 vid from Saturday night.
