So yesterday i drove from phoenix to yuma (200 mi) to meet a guy coming from San Diego with the truck, which i picked up a steal. The truck has a paxton novi 2000 supercharger, belanger headers, 4 cats replaced with 2 high flow cats, magnaflow exhaust, 170 tstat, custom short throw shifter, and ecm tweaked to work with everything. DC performance did all the work and the truck dynoed at 620 rwhp and 600 ftlbs.
So i drove the truck back from yuma to phoenix having fun with it and it was able to pull to 6000 rpm. from phoenix i drove to gallup, nm (another 200 mi to see some of my family). this morning i let the truck warm up and then started giving people rides but the truck seemed to lose power/choke after 5000rpm. I'm thinking its just the altitude change and since the weather is 60degrees. what do you guys thinks this could be due to? I'll be going back to phoenix on sunday so thats where the truck will stay.
