Finally...the tune with the SCT is done..

Finally tuned my truck....took 6 months but it was worth it...changed from the VEC to SCT during that time...Torre with unleashed Tuning did the honors...Torre traveled from FL to my local dyno to give me a custom tune yesterday....He took his time and gave me more than my money's worth...he spent 6 hrs on the dyno with only a 15 minute lunch break....I didnt count the pulls but I am sure they would number 20+..

I found Torre to be conservative with his tuning...he doesnt try to impress everyone with big numbers...his tune is a balance between power, drivability and keeping your motor together. I am very pleased with how the truck runs now.:)

Saturday here in east TN was not a great day for making HP on a dyno...humidity was in the 90s and the temp in the 80s....that said I still ended up with great #s.....625HP and 618TQ...:rock:

Dont give me that BS...that bottle and DRs are major equalizers...;) :marchmellow: .....like having a pistol in the belt buckle...

Had you already changed out your map sensor or did Torrie do it for you?

I believe in conservative tunes also.I,m scheduled for June 7th with Marty,Can,t wait to see the results!!!!:burnout:

My dealer had already switched it. I had a temp tune from Marty on the SCT...truck would not run with the stock sensor once the VEC is removed.
 
awesome numbers larry. that is the most beautiful torque "curve" i have seen in a while. i also saw while returning from my oil change you drove the beast to work today. its gorgeous. you going to the chattanooga gtg this weekend? i beleive we are leaving thursday night, so the wife can go to that god awful huge mall friday morning. we are also gonna try to take the kiddo to the aquarium, before going out to the track friday. might even run the truck now that i got the sct. just pm me if your going
