I just need some seat time with the slicks plus i wasnt trying to break her....

When you had the streets on it, how did the track compare to the street?

Almost the same my truck doesnt really loose traction its just easier at the track since there is grip

What rpm are you launching at? With those 60' times is seems that you are bogging. Actually those 32" tall full slicks are a bit too much for a stock truck, more mods will be needed. Try to come up here on Sunday for the test and tune at Famoso, Import car show , but the Test and Tune is open to everyone. Gates open at 8am , $50.00. Would love to meet. I will probably be there both days, I'm running saturday for sure, then sunday I will either run the SRT-10 again or try the new Cadillac.

I have the M&H Cheater slicks (only 30" tall) and I launch at 4500 rpm. I generally have 1.59-1.63 60' times. I run low 7.40's in the 1/8th. i have a ported intake, full headers and catless exhaust, JTS Venom TB, Chris Jensen tune ..... and a little less weight:D...running 11.60's - 11.70's
I also have an aluminum flywheel, twin disc clutch , and a Hurst Line Loc( I recommend this to save your spider gears).

More proof that the 32" tires are too big, I know of someone that picked up almost .3 by switching to a 28" tire.....

Run the V it'd be nice to see if it can break into the 11's stock

It was a combo of the tires, leaving the line like a beast, and great air I think. My prediction was right and I banged the rev limiter at 6200 across the line!! Did set a new PB and 60ft time though. A 30" would be my tire I think.

I will be buying some 30" tire after these finish to see the diference and will be adding TB and underdrive pully soon ....where can i get my manifold port and polished?
