Here are my first dyno runs of my QC at 10lbs of boost. The truck has more left in it. I will be doing another run next week. During the dyno run and as recorded by the VEC 3, at 4400 rpm it had 10 lbs of boost. At 5300 rpm, the boost level had fallen off to 5.5lbs. After the run, we discovered that one of the vacuum lines had blown off. I spoke with Sean and he said that since the PCM & VEC could no longer read manifold pressure I was down on boost, fuel and the timing would have been retarded..
Since the runs, I have secured all the vacuum lines and I am replacing the idler pulley to add some more tension on the belt. At this time, in addition to the vacuum line issue this is also suspect.
I believe a perfect run would net somewhere around 630 to 650 RWHP.
