I got the truck home yesterday. 2 day drive from illinois to florida. The truck is beautiful, and immaculately maintained.

Stinkers shifter is bar none, the best i have ever used. Its like a hammer hitting an anvil, and the path the shifter travels from gear to gear, its like its a perfecly machined close tolerance channel the handle rides through. Straight up from second, the shifter finds third like it changed places with first. You cant miss your shift. Its no jerky zig zag to get to it, its straight up. Downshifts the shifter instictively rights itself to go into the gear you want. Its as smooth as a well oiled slide on a glock 19. Love it.

I spent 2 hours washing and polishing the road grime off it today. I picked up every bug across 4 states. I prepared myself for a hard scrubbing and a sore back. But Geodriller, Chris god bless him, Is so f'ing anal. He put such a good coat of wax on this truck, all the bugs sprayed off with the garden hose, saving me alot of heartache.

It did feel a little flat in the lower rpms. It growls real deep but doesnt really pull like it should. Almost like its too rich, starving for air or the timing just aint right. Once it gets above 32-3400 it is a dramatic increase in power. Off idle throttle response is great, the truck feels tight. If you push the truck to 5800-6000 each shift it hauls ass, every bit as strong as my 05. My wife noted that it didnt feel as strong off the line as my last one. The tires do not spin unless you drop the clutch. Although the tires are very sticky, and the caltracs really keep the ass end tame. The truck is alot easier to drive and control. Im going to take it to the track this friday and verify the times its putting down, and maybe next week get 3 pulls on the local dyno. The tune may just need a little massaging. Ill send the graph to Torrie and see if we can get it touched up if it needs it.

All in all im happy 12 on a scale of 10. I wouldnt take anything for it, and am loving the attention its already gotten around town today. Im back, back in black.

Good deal bro, i am very relieved that you were as happy as you were, and got exactly what i told you it was.

To all: you guys should have seen this dudes smile. ear to ear for the entire time we were taking care of businnes, to the time i watched (and heard:D) my truck drive away for the last time .

I believe that detailing a vehicle is very important and nesassary for the ride to get the respect it deserves. The truck was insanely cleaner than when i got it from the dealersship. And Jeff, now you get to see how different it is washing a black trruck. She will broadcast a single hard water dot from across the city, lol...

I am interested to see the dyno results, but cant wait to see what she runs in the 1/4.

Glad you are happy and had a great and safe trip back to Florida.

Jeff, You are good people bro, you deserve a nice ride after all the hardships you fought through and years of workin your ass off for you family, and also for our country.

Congrats, and drive safe
