Havent done this in awhile. Whats the status of your builds or mods you would like to share? I'll add mine a bit later.

Well My NOS and caltracs are installed and workin good. I am thinking of porting and polishing a set of stock heads and adding a VEC2 with a race gas tune for NOS. Probably a ways out....1-2 months.

well the majority of my credit cards are maxed out so mine is on hold for the moment.....wife says xmas is coming so ive got to hold up on anything more for now

Pretty much as soon as Boomer is ready mine is going down. Not real sure on all of the details yet but will be fully built motor, boosted up paxton, nos, turbo 400 and gear vendors overdrive. Those are the highlights.

Joe

Like Eddie, it's too close to Christmas and I can't justify spending any dollars on myself.....so, mods are over until 2007 :(

I did just buy the magnaflow and drop-in, which are great...

2007 plans for the first/second quarter are for an SC, which will involve midpipes, and PCM's, and all kinds of stuff (as an idiot, I cannot explain what all is needed and need to do more research).....also need to get Boomer's lowering kit, caltracs, guages, and a ton of other stuff....

Good post, hope everybody takes a second to give us their updates

Volant is installed, but questionable. The sound under MOT (Medium Open Throttle) and WOT is FANTASTIC!
Post is here.
Whole thread is here.

Battery boxes are at the powdercoaters. They should be done in the next week or so and begin shipping.
Thread is here.

Exhaust project is moving along. More on that when it's completed (end of the month?).

Let me see? I'm single. No kids, no wife, no life. I have no credit debt, a very nice bank account, and two jobs.

I guess I could do just about anything I want as far as mods go, but all I really want to do is improve my current best ET right now.:D Pathetic? Probably.

Seems like I'm always Viper GTS shopping (or at least looking) anymore. Been looking at '06 ZO6's too since I heard one went 11.20's at 127 - stock. (11.01 on drag radials!!  )

I did just order six 3057 Hyper-White bulbs for my tailights. Hopefully they'll be brighter than the stock bulbs behind my smoked tails.

Still Stock right down to the exhaust tips.

But she does have a new coat of paint and a few flames.

Does that count :dontknow:

I havent done the paxton yet, still debating but the exhaust and the K&N aircharger were definately worth the cashola. Step on it and it sounds like a freakin NASCAR Yeah baby. Oops sorry got carried away for a minute. Rock on Fellas and Gals!!! :D  :D

K&N Drop in. Just bought an ECM (not installed yet). Will be doing the Magnaflows when funds allow. Maybe I can get Santa to leave some under the tree :D . I don't think mmmmtorque has anything to worry about yet.

I just installed the Raptor shift light I bought from John Stuttle and will hopefully install the Gen IV shifter bought from spdcrj tomorrow or friday.

I'm also done til at least christmas, then hope to add a few small things to improve my drag/road racing times. A few items would include possibly Boomers lowering kit, adjustable shocks, heat exchanger, etc. Otherwise, perhaps some 17x10 wheels and drag radials for the drag strip. A member e-mailed me about a set of stock SRT rims (4) that I would use for a set of tires for road racing venues.

If I go road racing at Miller Motorsports Park (southwest of Salt Lake City) next year I may drive the extra 500 miles or so to DC Performance to make sure I'm making optimum safe power and see kinds of magic they can work on my current setup (upgraded internals :) ). Since I'm trailering the truck that far whats another 500 miles.

Thats about it for me at this point, unless I sell it by then.

Dodge;

Interior, roll bar and floor painted.
Intake manifold is still waiting on the foundry for end pieces.

Chevelle;

Certified today by NHRA to 7.50
Lots still to do.

I jsut got a big bag of shizit! and no destructions!LOLO

Nah, UGR is so covered up I decided to do the fuel system myself to hopefully be ready for the race in bradington fla. then all it will need is tune
I should be doen picking up parts by friday or thats when the injectors will be in.

gonna vent watch out!!

I really should have jsut had a reputable place do this. so far I have much more invested than if I would have dropped it off somewhere!
And the headds and intake are still stock!
And to top it off! so far I have had to......
rewire most everything!
Move every hose under the hood!
remove and correctly space the slave cylinder!
replace bolts that were missing!
redo the boost controller!
now replace the injectors and rails!
remove the tank and replac the pump and run new lines!
And also install a correct pvc system for venting!

I feel much better now thanks for the thread:D

Well, what can I say?....I am in process of a Charge back for the transmission that is currently in my truck. It's already slipping. The billet torque converter is also slipping and it's a 47RE and not a 48RE.

I have a local guy building my stocker so I can play with my truck until I can send it to Gary for that 400 Turbo conversion...I also broke down and bought the same converter Mike has...Joe is awesome and one of the best salesman I have ever spoken to...BTW he has a fully built tranny for immediate sale...he also has one more converter left...I wish I would've know before having my stocker built. Joe knows his stuf...Specially on our trucks...

The next step is going to build the motor...Probably a 522 stroker....

Bud, there is nothing wrong with finding a good deal. The only poblems is to find someone who does what they say they will do for the price they said. It's kind of messed up huh. You have to pay more for honesty....

WAITING FOR INTAKE TO COME BACK FROM HENNESSEY. HE DID A GREAT JOB ON MY THROTTLE BODY
