First of the month...time for status of your builds

I have pretty much completed all my mods/build that I want to (see sig).

I only have to get my - Water Tank Installed for the Charge Cooler, which I just ordered from Jegs for $54.00, a fully polished 1.5 quart aluminum tank, and Boomers Lowering Kit which in the garage.

I will be installing my Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.2 DSP, and a 5 channel Alpine Amp to complete audio system.

After that I think I am done for awile.

Mine is done...just tuning. They keep tellin me how great its running and its makin VERY good power...but they wont let me pick it up!!!! ARRRGGGHHHHH WTF!

Just finished most of the last round...Centerforce Clutch, Flywheel, Master/Slave upgrade, HID's, Gen IV shifter....still need to install the set of Caltracs that are sitting in my office :D

Ordered a set of slicks and working on the rims with Patrick ;)

Should be grinding down a set of spare calipers I picked up from 1Fast400 in the near future...

Hmmm, ordered a X-Metal throttle body..just waiting for the finishing touches.

Going to do my winter dyno tune here in the next week or so...

Snooping around for a set of blacked out headlight inserts and smoked tails...No luck so far.

Just about done with my planned mods.....Only have adjustable shocks, poly bushings and an accusump left on my original list.

Have an engagement ring, wedding and a new Escalade to purchase over the next 18 months. So will push out my wish list to 2009 ;)

I just put in the Gen IV shifter and Redline fluids last night. :burnout:

I still have to do Centerforce clutch/slave upgrade and now a throttle body. :)

I'll have to see what's on my neighbors wishlist to see what else I need to do to his truck.

:D

Here is my next mod. I hope it will be done by the end of the year.

All Boomer!

Just added his PCM Stage 2. Cat Delete Mids, and Magnaflow Cat Back will be on soon!

I am also working with Boomer for a 708 Cam, Pushrods and maybe Jessel's if I can afford all of it! This would be my Christmas Present to myself! :D

Anyone have any idea on labor cost for this kind of install? Are the Jessel's really worth the money?

THANKS!

I think the Jessels are worth the money, anytime you reduce friction its good, but you may get different opinions

SO WHEN ARE ONE OF YOU BIG SC'D BOYS READY TO RUN FOR PINKS????:D

he he he Your first big boy!!!!:burnout: :D :D :D LOLOLOL

Hope you getter back this weekend:D  :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:

Well, at least a few people that are actually have done or are doing a build replied. It's nice that others took the time to post but...

Sorry to say this, but a bolt on here and there or a visual mod is pretty far removed from a build. Blakewilder, jrgnd, Prof, Stinker, Boomer... guys like these know what a build is. Even more so for those who are actually getting their hands dirty, fingernails torn, and knuckles bloodied (on top of emptying their wallets). If your engine mounting bolts still smell like dog tacos from the hands the beneficiary of NAFTA who was hired by a beneficiary of the Third Reich (you listening, you Daimler Nazis!?!) that installed them, or you haven't held parts of your engine's reciprocating assembly in your hands, then I'm sorry, but you ain't doing a build.

Now, if you haven't already clicked (Quote) to post some pathetic response to my tirade, and actually give a $hit about my build... My block is waiting at Arrow for final machining before assembly, waiting mostly because of Arrow's involvement with the GENIV Viper engine development. The rest of the parts are just waiting to be installed. The engine broke in October 2005...

I just wanted to click quote ;) :p

No pinks for me. Just a fast family ride and grocery getter! :D

It will also pull my 17' SST120 Drag Race Boat. It is pretty light. It will add to the cool factor big time when pulling into races. May not win but it will look and sound good entering and leaving!

Any idea on labor cost and HP gains with the whole package of cam, pushrods and Jessels?

THANKS!

Most of us who have just done bolt ons and replied realize we aren't doing a build.
Rather than have a thread with 300+ turd lickers and no posts, some us went ahead and knowingly posted crap just to keep this thread at the top. :p

For those who are offended, get on here post stuff about your real build while the rest of us keep it at the top. ;)

LOL.:D <----That means this post in made in fun, not in a rant. :D

Thanks to EVERYONE who replied...its nice to see what you're all up to and what your plans are.

I love this site!

Stinker would no more risk his ride on a race than Jack, Patrick or I would! But the spirit and challenge of the question needs to be explored...say next summer when we GTG for the nationals...some challenges: turbo vrs. SC vrs. NOS vrs. all motor and ahhhhh vrs. Z06's..........

Maybe also some Paxson vrs Roe....QC vrs RC....all of the colors against one another (except for black because we know it is fastest) and what else????

LOLOL Exactly Prof! I knew Blake would be the first ot chime in!LOLOL

You are exaclty right its all in fun bro! There is nothing better than being at the track talking trash!

It is going to be such a blast next year at the Nats!

Oh and as soon as I get everything together I will post pics, pump, reg, hoses, connectors, injectors and rails.

Some of us have never turned a wrench and thats cool, look at Dave T he took it upon himself to install the shifter, and to him that was a great accomplishment:rock:

I understand what Ram from Hell is saying , but on the other hand there is alot of guys out there that have never turned wrenches and to them its special when they do, be it a door sill or a Paxton such as Silver SRT.

It is intimidating when you pull off the intake and heads and it takes experience, and then sometimes you still screw up:p But its all good!

I SAY MOD ON FOOLS:D :dancing:

Just got the Mopar headers. Haven't installed them yet. I am #26 on the TMTS list:D . Can't wait to try it. Probably next year by the time it's all installed.
