I just recieved the first SRT-10 Ram in whole our country, Ukraine. I am the happy owner
I have a few questions, maybe you will be kind enough to reply me and let me know some answers because here in our country nobody knows anything about those cars. I got 2005 srt-10 regular cab MT. the car got some crazy HURST shifter on it. is it short shifter or not? and also KN intake system. it got about 17-18k miles on it. The questions I got so far are: the car shakes on idle, is it normal for those engines? you can feel it and you can see the handle shake. The pipings from and to the oil cooler are not tight and there are small ammounts of oil dripping of them. Is it a common problem? how to fix it? what parts to buy? There are very very little ammouin of oil comming off the tail shaft of the trans where the driveshaft slides into the trans. is it normal? should I replace the seal? where to buy one?
What oil would you recomend for this car? I used the Castrol Syntetic 0w40. is it ok?
Which spark plugs would you recomend? what brand name and what code? the car has champions stockers. shoudl I replace them at this milage?
Shoudl i replace the fuel filter? where is is located? is it hard to replace by myself?
would you recomend me to replace spark plug wires? to which ones?
Is the clutch suppose to wear out by that time? what clutch would you recomend to get? which brand name?
Which tires are recomended? I am thinking about getting same scorpions as I have on the car now? or get the BFG KDW's?
Does anybody makes some kind of black or titanium front grill kit for this car?
Which are the cheapest and most effective power modes you would recomend to first do on this truck? exhaust? what esle? would you recomend to do with the shifter? If I remove cats - how do I turn off the check engine light? is it possible?
is there some kind of tuning software or programmer for this car?
As for the suspention, I would love to make it handles more streight. on the bumpy roads we got here on the highways when I drive 60-80 mph the car moves around the road on the bumps as crazy. it is scarry. is it possible to do something to suspention to make it drive streight easy? I would love to go up to 100-120mph but it is just impossible on our road. the car jumps on the bumps and moves around the road. Is it normall?
If you have time please reply me, any help would be apreciated. Is it hard to have the only car in the country and not be able to get any info on it.
