fixing a bent rim?

anyone know if you can get a rim "trued" up? we noticed on of my rears looks WAY out of round when it was on the dyno, don't feel and vibration but it makes me wonder if thats the reason my u-bolts came loose??
 
should be able to.

any good alloy wheel repair shop help ya out:rock: :rock:

and if ya need the rear inner fender i'm pretty sure i still have mine from when i installed the full rear inner fender, i can send ya

guess i'll see if i can find one local, need to take them all out to the tire shop and measure the run out to make sure

i'm in dallas all of the time.....so i could pick it up one day and then run it down to you one day i'm bored
 
it depends, if the front and back of the rim are bent/warped then chances are the rim cannot truely be repaired

i dunno, it wobbles back and forth found a place in austin they said 125 so i guess i'll take it to them when ever i get ready to put new tires on it
 
i've got a buddy here in Austin... he's name is bobby 512.677.1398... he'll pick it up and dismount and remount and balance for you approx 130.00 bucks

ok thanks man i'll hit him up when i get some tires, they're pretty much toast now:D
