Flat black truck

If I could have kept my truck it would be flat black by now, with plum crazy stripes.
Dang, that's different (in a good way). A very unique combo to come up with. ;)

Damn that flat black does look good.

I was debating doing the flat black.

Just TOOOO much to do. The whole truck needs to come apart, bed off, doors off, rubber off, etc.

But it does look good. From the photos it is a nice paint job. Flat black is a BITCH to paint. It shows every mistake. Prep has to be perfect. Dirt shows. Paint mix has to be exact for the weather. And the painter has to know what hes doing. Overlaps(Tiger stripes) are a problem with flat black. It drys soo fast.

PPG has a great new satin clear that helps. BUT its spendy.

This one looks like it was painted with a rattle can!!!

Nope deffinitely not rattle canned.

BUT

It does look a lil twisted up front.

Maybe its not on a flat surface. But it looks like its bent underneath maybe?

From the front, engine and side views it looks cockeyed to me :dontknow:

Anyone close to where the truck is? Coule b a nice steel for someone if it all checks out.?

I started to bid on it, but at 10k the reserve isn't met. And you could have jeffs truck with a clean title for a Lil more money!
