And trying to explain to the better half why I "NEED" that exhaust system or that lowering kit, well... it's not always the easiest thing in the world...

I would say i there is truth to that! when I have the viper out its just not enough (550-570rwhp)...i have never been in a car that is fast enough for me...the only thing that came close was a 900rwhp 01 vette(forged 347, D1SC, NOS)...it was a 9 second car and pulled hard...but i just needed more. I would love to get a bike, but my wife realized something a fewyears back and has explained it very clearly to me...you see when God made me he forgot to connect the wiring in my brain that related speed or acceleration to my thought pattern...which is one reason I am selling my viper, its never going to be enough...

Burntrubber I know what you mean. My truck feels slower and slower. Until i really get on it and slide it sideways. :burnout: :burnout: I rented a car a month ago with a four banger and then got in my truck again after renting for a week. Boy did it feel fast again. I can only imagine ridin' in a 10 with twin turbos. Probably chit on myself with so much power.:toilet: :marchmellow: :marchmellow:

I went the least expensive way.
Instead on putting Roe and increasing the HP on the 10, I bought a Susuki GSX 1300R Hayabusa. it's scare fast, and a blast to ride!!!! Make my Harley Road king feel like a moped after riding it.

Still the SRT is rumbling down the road is a bite more comfortable.

I have been on the forum for a couple months now and have owned the baddest truck on the planet for just at a year now and while on the forum tonight I got a little chuckle.

THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE ON EARTH WHERE HAVING A 500 HP STOCK VEHICLE IS SLOW......compared to other rides on the forum. It makes me smile to know that I have a 500 hp vehicle and on here I always feel slow.

Never thought for a second that 500 horseys would be considered slow anywhere on the planet. Anyway food for thought from my brain.

By the way, I have slowly started the modding process to be "not so slow" and my wife has already asked me what I am sure some of you get alot. "500 Horsepower isn't enough?" My reply.... of course it's enough but I am shooting for ridiculous!!! :rock: :rock: :marchmellow:

Forgive me for saying so sir, but 500 at the crank in a truck that weighs over 5200lb is NOT enough.

600 at the tire is enough...........
