this buck was killed yesterday morning on our property. not the best we've seen but a good example.

friend of my dads shot that yesterday. my brother and his son are out there today hopefully they will get something.
 
Thats cool...I have always wanted to go hunting. My dad used to hunt all the time when i was a kid and never got the chance to go. He tells me some good stories though..:rock:

come to alabama. ill set you up we have a nice hunting cabin. ill try to put you on a deer. even teach you how to hunt from a moving vehicle...lol

LOL...with my luck I'll get one of those mechanical dummy deer.:D
 
we run over them with the truck tell the game warden the throttle stuck.

What is it? White tail? Looks larger than the white tails we have around here. I always headed to the East side or Oregon for the Mule deer. They were generally twice the size of the white tails and tasted much better after grazing on the farm lands.
 
my father used to keep some in a wood near our house....one day a clever :eek: neigbour claimed he could hold the deer by his points... yep, he tryed it... not long, result was a point right trough his hand....:nurse: :nurse: :nurse:

I knew a guy who jumped on a doe out of a tree stand...he found out deers dont need horns for defense...their hooves will slice you up...:nurse:
 
dont know i was out of town this weekend. looks like about 17 or 18 inches inside spread. probably a 2.5 to 3 yr old dear. killed plenty with vehicles never by hand. have cut some throats of ones that weren't quite dead after they've been shot.:D
