That is what I am hearing from people that have driven one...and gets something like 23MPG.........but definitely not competition for a 10...

My friend just bought a new '11 F150 EcoBoost 3.5 V6 twin turbo 365 hp. He says it gets 22 - 24 mpg....
I here the 2wd trucks will run 14.3 & the 4x4's go 14.8 stock.
No match for Our 10's!

yeah but what about torque, and how will it do hauling a big load up hill at slow speeds??

Gas station remark----my dad said somethin similar when i took him for a ride, he said it is fast and will pass everything but a gas station

there is talk about them gettin rid of the v8 and using the twin turbo 6 for the gt stangs. dont know if its true or not, buty heard it from some die hard ford guys

thereis a vid somewhere on youtube of a nw sho and gt stang(not th 5.0), both stock, and drag racin on the street with street tires. It was neck and neck, so the stangs are slow or the sho is fast.

my buddy used to have an old sho. for its day it was pretty quick, but the new ones are a different breed

The new sho's are pretty mean with a tune alone....notto mention minor bolt ons...

Torrie developed the SCT for the SHO...I think his best run was a 13.1 @ 106....this is a completely stock car with only mod being his tune.....a little turbo and exhaust tweeking and it would easily run mid 12s..

how does the 5.0 compare to the ecoboost in the trucks do you know? i saw that event he base V6(3.7L i think?) was like 304hp, and considering the dodge is 215 and chevy is 195 i'm thinkin that might be the biggest bang for the buck you could buy(unless the new trucks are stupid heavy)

I hear guys like the 5.0 motor in the F150 also but it has less hp. than the eco boost but more tq. I hear the twin turbo eco boost is still a little faster in the 1/4 mile. The 5.0 in the new '11 mustang is a phuckin rocketship! I drove my friends Stang, it ran 11.9 in the 1/4
