Just reading about this truck...

Seems that if someone was looking for a work truck or a 10 year truck purchase for normal truck use...this just might be a good choice.

Not for economy, not for quickness, but for everyday use, light hauling, low maintenance, and all around utility...a bit expensive but, I think this could easily be a ten year truck with few issues or problems...

Flame away.

they are poping up everywhere! i've seen 2 of them on the highway and at teh foprd dealerships! they are ulgy as hell.... yes some one should buy one an beat the hell out of it

i want one, i rather wait for the SuperCrew version. Supposely Ford is waiting to see if there is enough interest in truck before expanding their production

some of the features seem cool, like the hill decent button, dont have to hit the brakes going down a hill, does it for you.

Had one at my local Ford Stealership...friend of mine went with a paid off 3 year old Explorer trade and cash in hand. They wouldn't sell it for less than the $44,000 sticker price. Don't see a lot of interest spiking for that price tag but thats just my opinion. But then again, look what these things cost 4-6 years ago...

I love it!

I think it would be great in the snow...

6.2L (400HP) next year will make it just about right. 12 inches of suspension for the rough stuff with FOX shocks.

Can be ordered without the graphics makes it look a lot better.

Wil

well they are made for real off-road use that big of a side wall is a must IMO

Yep..need sidewall for off road...that is what the Ford truck is designed for and is not comparable to our trucks which like nice smooth pavement..

No, no... those of us who bleed some Ford blue, think this shows the sad state of the SVT line. We call it the "Craptor." What a complete pile....

At least they didn't commit blashphemy to the Lightning name. :p

If I were looking to buy a new truck I would wait for the 6.2L and buy a Raptor. Offroad nothing close to stock will touch this truck. And, nothing will touch it for the price no matter what mods you do. If you bought a Dodge 4x4 and wanted to mod it to compete with the Raptor you would spend close to 100k including the cost of the new Dodge and all mods. For what it was intended to do, it is tough to beat.

The Raptor as a weekend ride...CTS V as a daily driver...SRT 10 as a garage queen!
