So today I was cruising in my 10 when a guy in a Ford 150 GTR says he can beat me in a race with his truck. I said let's do it. but he said cops this and that wouldn't race basically talking shit. So I get home and try and look it up but I really can't find anything. Is that truck really fast? Cause it looks slow as shit. Besides having duel hood scoops. Lol

This was around the time nissan was looking fkr a parent/father company to produce their full size pickup...Ford did a small stint with nissan...supposedly there are 6 f-150 prototypes that were sold as parts...It was basically a f150 with full gtr drivetrain...was it a reg cab or quad??

It is a quad cab. Had GT R badges on the sides and on the tail gate. If I see him again I will try and snap a pic of the truck.

could also just be a rebadge a lot of trucks/cars out there where they buy the badges from another vehicle and throw them on there.. and think stickers ad 50+hp

LOL classic.

Only a select few even know about the f150 gtr...They really shine on a road course with the independent rear...No one even knows what a F150 GTR ed even is- why would they rebadge it to look like something no one even knows about??...you may as well just come up with your own badge at that point...

This is very true. I am really hoping I run into this guy again I want to know more about his truck.

Why is everyone blown away by this turd of a truck? It is a stock ford drivetrain not gtr anything. It's just an ugly appearance package

You are missing the point here...Its not that it is some amazingly fast supertruck, its the fact that it happened at all. The idea of a Ford F-150 GT-R actually coming to fruition as a production vehicle is amazing, and its something that I didnt even know existed. IMHO, it takes leaps like this in able for the auto industry to evolve, much like our 10's. So while you see a "turd of a truck" and "an ugly appearance package", I see someones dream being realized.

ok. if by that logic how many hemi's are rebadged as SRT's and you know how many times i have wanted to slap someone because i get asked "so does that think have a hemi?" i want to slap the shit look off there face. but same thing a LOT of people have no idea was an SRT-10 ram is but still a lot that badge hemi's to look like them. so as i said could just be a rebadge.

WHAT? I thought stickers and stripes added 50 HP to the wheels easily. I thought that's why so many SRT guys go with stripes vs flames. :D:burnout::burnout:

Coincidentally enough, I saw one today in Charlotte.

Ok lets get things straight...Im not talking about some stupid ass GT-R f150, if you guys are ok no problem...Im talking about a prototype F150 that had a complete GTR drivetrain..There were 6 working prototypes and 1 press truck...I have been looking for the one vid i can show and the 2 pics that dont have the company name on every inch of the photo...I was interning at a local detroit based magazine, youve all heard of...
