The WRX was quite the machine and still is today, I remember the Metro 6r4 coming out and Peugeot Renault 5 Turbo 2 also. Huge horsepower for 1.6litre motors on the French stuff.

There are a lot of people that have no idea what it takes to do that kind of maneuvering...there is so much involved that is counter intuitive...tap the brakes to get the weight on the front wheels, throw the car into a hard turn, deftly apply the hand brake to get the rear end to switch back to front...stay off the foot brake (nearly impossible for me for two or three hours), get that acceleration to exit the turn.........whew!!!
