Ford vs. Dodge

Had the truck out today and i was fillin up the tank and noticed a black ford at the pet store that appeared to be a lightning. After i filled up i went over there to see if he would race me. He did not.

The reason for this post is for those ford guys to see and hopefully get off their high horses that we all hate eachother. I have been followin the Spazie/Stewart302 thing on both websites (and many more) and figured it would be a good time to lay the smack down and get it on tape.

Anyways sorry to disapoint bout the race, (thats why this post is in GD) but just wanted people to remember that we all have the same thing in common. We all love fast truck. We talked for a bit, The guys dad was with him (he had a built up daytona QC) and reminded his son this is what he should have got. We were both adults (atleast he was lol) And i asked him if i could snatch a pic

This is my truck, him in the middle, his dad and his L. It was an 03 and in great condit. It is also for sale 14K

BTW: They were both real nice guys and we both told eachother they had nice rides. And im also pretty sure i could have taken him:rock:

In regards to the lightning/srt-10 ram debates,

I see this a lot with Honda, DSM, Supra's...etc and it does not matter what person drives what, they will always honor it if they've ever had to wrench it. It's just like everyone has an opinion and some people feel the need to change them. I bring this up because it's good you didn't do this.

I personally, like the look of the lightnings, they do look good and I don't think many will disagree... but something about having "viper" creates ego boosts in some men. Plus it's a totally different means of getting power. Which is just dumb to compare in the first place. Which is where I don't understand the cockiness of Lightning owners or ourselves. They can get a fast truck in low 10's with a lot less money than we can put in to get low 11's in ours. A big whoop! Anyway...

Good you had a story to show that a lion (us) can be with the lamb (lightnings) ....ohhh... I can't finish this one..

It's cool you got pics of that. I'd have asked the same thing - wanna race?? and I always get weird ones at gas stations. It's good they were willing to shoot the breeze with you. Just makes everyone remember why they have what they do.

i agree. Speaking of supra's, if i could get my hands on one thats manual and in good condition, i would defently buy it....lol.

I agree. A while back i searche e-bay just to see what they where going for. To get a well built newer supra they are a pretty penny.

I do like them though................That being said, Some kid in a supra thinkin he is the shit rolls around me revin his engine followed by his little buddy in a 5.0 with a rediculous monster tach and guages all over the pillers, etc, etc. After watching them play back and fourth i finally rolled up to them where we where all front in line at a light. I asked him what he had done to the car and he replied an exhaust, CAI, and a tune. I asked what all those guages are for and he mumbled somethin. Light turned green and i completely decimated both of them and they quikly turned off.

Just thought it was kind of funny how this younger gen thinks all they have to do is buy a car with a fast name and think they have race cars

It seems to be the younger cdrowds creating alot of the heresay that ussually leads to problems. Not sayin all of em though

But totally agree. Bet you just gave those kids an incentive to make their cars faster for the next chance when they see you.

LMAO, right..

I hope they make some adjustments on those cars. I will give them a second chance. They r guna hve to throw some big bucks cuz i was roastin tires at 50 or so and they were still 3 or 4 car lengths behind. Ussually i take all my races out to the country. It is a rare occasion to do that in town but with those goofballs, I could make an exception.:rock:

well i seen the design for the new supra that they are coming out with, its ugly as fuck. I hate to say it, but the supra that was in the first fast and the furious (i think a 93?) was the best looking. Just gotta get rid of that ugly wing and stock or better body kit.

Most definately. Some know how and some are really good. There is a street club in my area that has some pretty fast cars and pretty good drivers.

I know a guy with a built WRX STI. his dad has his own shop and turbos is his specialty. Needless to say his 19year old son has a rediculously fast car and he knows how to use it.

I would however feel better loosing to him if his dad didnt pay his car payment. for him....lol. Hell, If i lived at home i would have a 10sec truck.

Its all in fun anyways!!!! I know him personally, we used to ride street bikes together, he is a good guy
