Camaro's stoped looking good in 1970. Now If I could buy a Viper my truck would be gone, but I want to save up to have both. You can't drive any where and not be asked about it. If I wanted the fastest I would have bought an excellent condition 2000 vette and worked it. If you want something bad-azz you need an SRT10. plus reliability is great with vipers, you see guys with over 150,000 miles with minor problems. Bottom line...the truck is the best ever, no one can take that away!!! unless you get repo'd...lol

I've had more compliments in parking lots than I've had vehicles want to run me. Probably about 200:1. I'm still not used to complete strangers coming up to me out of the blue asking about the truck. I'm getting better, but...I don't think I'll ever get used to it.
A couple of weeks ago, I pull into the local convenience store to get a snack and a soda. Two guys in full painters gear see me walking back to the truck. They're giddy like little school girls being dared to talk to the cute boy in the grade above them. Okay, that's a bit off; they were extremely excited. These were obviously guys who 'worked' for a living, and could appreciate such a truck (don't get me wrong- I get a thrill from pulling it into a Mercedes or Jaguar dealership and watching the suits drool too).
The one guy asked, "Is that one of the Viper trucks?" I said that it was. He and his buddy freaked out with a ton of expletives and asked me about 5 min. worth of questions about the truck as they walked around it and eyed it up and down like the new dancer at the club.
The piece-de-resistance and everyone's favorite part: opening the hood. From the sounds they made, you'd think they both just went 8 seconds on Ol' Hellraiser.
Try that with something other than these trucks.
Gotta +1 on this.
