I have a noise that just came about today.

Sounds like a grinding/squeeling noise. sounds like the drivers side brakes.

Does almost all the time while driving and you can feel it in the petal.

I am lost, I'm thinking rotor but it does not seem rashed or smell after the drive. Does anybody know what this could be or has had it happen to them before?

I will throw it up on a lift saturday, but kinda wanted some input on what it could be.

Do these brakes make this much noise when going bad ?

Thanks in advance.

Never let mine get bad enough to make noises:dontknow:......Most definatly get it on the lift and check it out..... can you see the pads through the wheels .....are they worn down????

Sorry man I was driving, I can't help if something fails.

No rotors and pads look good. pads still have atleast 50% left on them.

Brakes were starting to squeel a bit at a stop about week ago, was going to get new pads and rotors, but this i dont think is brakes.

Maybe what he said wheel cylinder ?

been some guys with hub bearin probs/failures

for certain ones there was help from a TBS bulletin out.

might call the Dodge house & see if it falls into the TBS

understand the "need" part, lol.

the $140 probably less sensor

rockauto has the best price, $120 & some change, if ya have the time:rock:

Of course if you haven't already had the wheel brearing recall completed....it could be done for free!

I had to replace mine... 400 dollar part up here with sensor!

whar the hell ya at??????

Really ?

Well I bet i would get the shaft somehow from the dodge dealers around here.

there is not really a good/honest dealer around my house.

I will just pay out of pocket, knowing my truck is still in good hands.

Thanks for the info tho.

Good plan... my dodge fucked me over with the recall...

Wheel bearing fixed, was the pass side not drivers.

But drivers side is not far behind it. that will be next weekends fix now. And tweaked the cal-tracs  They were a tad off, now they really bite down.

Thanks alexspop your the man. Great info :D

Glad you got her straight!

I just changed both of my front wheel hub assemblies and did new rotors and pads while I was at it. Was easy! Only took about 2 hours and that was taking my time. Drives like new again!
