Front Lower Control Arm - Where do you find the stamped part number?

Absolutely!!

As many of you know I want to convert my lowered truck back to factory height.
My question is if you buy used front lower control arms how do you actually know you are getting a factory SRT-10 front lower control arm?
I have researched many topics here on the forum and read on one thread saying the Ram 2500 front lower control arms look identical to the SRT-10 arms and they recommend using those. Another thread said the SRT-10 are special, and a Ram 2500 might work, but is not correct (not sure what the difference is).
Is there a part number stamped somewhere on the arms so I can verify I am getting true SRT-10 part? I hate spending the time & effort by not putting in actual SRT-10 parts. So many scammers out there just trying to protect myself.
Check the build sheet for your truck(Viper Registry). Most of the parts are standard 1500 Ram parts. The list of special SRT-10 parts is quite short and mainly superficial exterior and interior parts. Except for the obvious engine trans wheels etc. If you are concerned then cross reference on Rockauto between 5.7 and 8.3 weed out the 4wd parts and bingo. My front suspension kit is listed in both 8.3 and 5.7
Why do you need to change control arms? It is only the springs that are shorter. Just loosen the bushings bolts and retighten them when your truck is at it's new normal ride height, so you don't risk tearing the bushes.

Here is my build sheet. There is the list of special items. Springs, shocks, swaybars, brakes, the rest is standard 1500 truck

We'll be waiting! Hahahaha

It appears mine doesn’t have a part number on the lower comtrol or the upper control arms .. or did it on the lower , see the sticker on last pic ! Faded and washed away numbers !!

That leaves only 1 option IMO … WIFEY TO THE RESCUE since the Queen has such low mileage it could very well have a readable intact sticker … @2005ViperRam

Ha!!!! A sticker, I knew it!!

If I ever see that part I will get the r number hahahaha!

I think they are standard Ram 1500???

Either way the online parts manual has the OEM part number (s) in it so the trick is finding oem if one wants oem lol

Ha!!!! A sticker, I knew it!!
The sticker on mine at least is easy to see on the bottom side of the control arm … heck if you have a self stick taking a pic should be a breeze .. or just sticking your arm under the truck , sim and click hahaha
