If anyone here has a set of OEM brake pads with low miles that they do not want. Please let me know. There is a new product that is coming out in a month or two that is supose to solve the squeel problem that we all have encountered. I threw my set out after buying EBC's. Anyway I have the product already and I want to try it out. I will post the results the day after. Thanks Mike

I may throw away my EBC's...lots o' dust. I'll give a better report of their performance on the road course later this summer.

I don't want to say what the product name is yet. I want to try it out first.

But I will say this much. You put the product on the front side of the pad not the back. Sounds wierd and risky but they say this stuff really works and in some cases makes breaking a little better than before. So I like the grabby stock pads if they didn't squeek. So that is one of the reasons why I wanna be the ginny big. Plus I have some of it. Now I just need the pads.

bump. I still need a set for a QC. Come on people let me give some feedback on something that might possable help us.

like most applications for brake squeal you must use new brake pads.
brand new OEM pads will run you 160.00 shipped.

Sorry but a disagree. This product is suppose to eliminate any squeal. buying new pads is only going to cost me 160 for the same outcome.

why dont you ask to try it out on a diff. truck, one that has had only factory pads and know rotor turning(not even sure if you can turn rotors anymore). just my .02. im ready to change my pads "scueewwiekkk--k (the last k is when i look around to see if anyone noticed! YEP they all did!)

Don't you just hate that squeal ? I can live with the dust, that doesn't bother me much.I HATE  the noise, though.

I don't know what product you are referring but most products are a solvent that you soak the pads in and they do not work on used pads. again i don't know what product you are getting maybe its different...interested to know if it works. Good Luck

It's not a solvent. The direction say to scuff the pad. Apply a single coat and let dry for 15-20 min. Then apply another coat and let dry. Then is says to drive the vehicle. It says you will hear some funky noises and breaking will not be up to par at first. It says all noises should go away and breaking could be better.

Don't get me wrong. I am just a sceptical (sp) as anyone else. That is why I won't try it on my EBC's. I sence the OEM pads squeal something terrable. I thought I would start there first.
