    So more like....Floyd I dun told you to stay away from that there pipeline;)

    Seriously tho I get it. Pipeline protection is a major concern, most Joe public wouldn't know how much effort and thought goes into our taken for granted infrastructure.
    My X wife's father was a Cathode protection officer at Auckland Gas Co

    Like I teach in my classes: "There is enough buried infrastructure in the province of Alberta alone to circle the Earth 50 times".

    (That we know of which means there IS more than that).

    Oh yeah fun times, uncharted services. Many years ago I had my own excavator and was doing a big job in Auckland doing stormwater /sewer separation. Mostly uncharted really old area of city.
    We found allsorts. 13 different services in the street including a DC power supply left over from the tram days, it was still live. Nobody knew where it came from or where to turn it off. 25 years ago now.
