98 Mitsubishi Mirage LS Coupe- 5 speed manual
I got this car to save on gas because my truck gets about 9 mpg. This car saved me tons of money each month. I personally got 37 mpg with a pretty even mixture of city and highway driving. I also got it so I could save my nice truck from the wear and tear of daily driving. Just no longer need this car because I now use Jessica's car as a daily driver.
The Good:
37 MPG.....even with "crappy" gas
Runs very strong, never had an issue with the motor or trans...would drive it from far west Glendale to Casa Grande every weekend with no concerns
Clean interior
Very low maintenance costs, like cheap oil changes, cheap tires, etc
3 of the tires are basically brand new with less than 1000 miles on them
The Bad:
No A/C, I never looked into because I never really cared. Just rolled down the windows and enjoyed saving gas money
Speed sensor is touchy, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't
Needs one new tire, just blew recently
Ugly....as you can see from the pics.
The kbb on this car in "fair" condition is almost $1900. So, my asking price of $1400 is pretty fair however I will take any reasonable offer. It does need some repairs to make it "perfect" however you can run it as is for as long as you need to. The savings in gas alone will pay for the car in a matter of months. It did for me. This car would make a great first car or as a daily driver while you save some miles on your better car.
