i actually saw a pic of an engine block someone had made a table out of. used rods and pistons to set glass on top of , looked pretty cool

That's my plan, the inspiration is top gear.

The closest I'll ever get is the hurst shifter as my grill handle...

A friend of mine and I actually did this with his blown WRX STi block. Took alot of cleaning but it came out great!
