Filled the nos today.....drove home...parked the truck in the sun....

there is a mistake I don't plan on repeating....$80 worth of WTF is that crazy noise and why is there a cloud of Fog under my truck....:D ....

thank goodness for Blow off safety valves....BTW they let go at 3000psi....bottle is filled to 900psi....bottle itself will let go at 6000psi...:D ...

$8.95 for a new BOV disc....

Did the part just fail, of did the pressure build so high that it blew the part? Was the sun shinning directly on the bottle?

Bill.

I have to figure it was metal fatigue issue....the temp in the bed is mid 70's at best....:dontknow: ......the pour out froze the concrete under the truck...

no I have a blown down tube that redirects the flow out the bottom of the bed....it did however leave a nice layer of white ice on my leaf spring....
