05 Yellow Fevers by far have the nicest interior!!
texastonka said:Thanks for all the input. Can you tow with a RC? I see the QC comes with a hitch but not the RC. I am buying one of these trucks for my company, the 'Halo' truck of the fleet if you will. People know me as the 'Viper Guy' with the GTS TT and RT/10 and looking to keep that persona with my company truck being an SRT10. So I will be putting daily miles on it and using it as a truck, not a 1/4 mile or dyno queen. Intake, headers, exhaust and tune are all that are in the cards for this one. With that being said and what I have read it looks like a 2006 QC is what I am looking for.
Originally thought a 05 or 06 RC but now that I see the 2006 is on a 2500 frame I am leaning more towards that way. Would benice to have a 6spd in the QC... but I can live with the auto. Now I knwo I am looking at sub 12MPG either way but does the 4spd Auto get far worse MPG than the 6spd? I would assume due to weight the QC gets at least 1MPG worse, but would like to hear what the local experts have to say on it. Any idea what the average MPG would be on the highway trips? Living in Texas 300 miles trips are frequent.
