gas mileage

Who has the best gas mileage on a 10 how didu do it ,I normally don't drive the truck but my other vehicle is in the shop so the 10 is my daily driver for now .

16.0 driving back from Eugene, OR, the other day. My three-month average (city/highway mix) before that was 12.8.

I average around 13.5. That's with 1/4 mile runs, and a bunch of dyno time in the mix.

Mine got around 18 mpg highway with 4.10's (6 spd reg cab),keep it under 75,drive it easy

adding 10 oz acetone to every fill up helped a lot !
there is thread here somewhere about it

but as high as acetone is these days (apprx $15 gal.) it isn't as big a help in saving $$$$$$$$$

Whenb mine was new, seemed like I was filling it up every week or less. After 10K the mileage really improved. But never checked it for numbers, figured it would give the wife ammo to chew my ass out.

Like was said before, when it hits empty, fill it, otherwise, drive it like you stole it

Depending on traffic, I get 9.5 to 10.5 mpg. On my drive back to VA from IN, after I bought the truck, it got 15 mpg -- that's the best I have seen.
