Obvious rookie question, but I live in CA where our gas is 91 octane, i found a station near me that has 100..........i was interested in trying it out but wasnt sure if it would hurt my engine, and if it was really worth the extra money??

$3.25 that would be nice :( :( try $3.65 a gallon

Most of the 100 octane gas is leaded.

Leaded fuel will shorten the life of the cats and the O2 sensors.

That's it, I'm moving to Saudi.

$5.91/gallon in Calgary (Canada)

Is that what it converts to?? I was okay with it at $1.00/litre this 121.4/litre stuff is a little ridiqulous....

Yeah, cost per litre x 4.546= cost per gallon.

We need Mr. Fusion!!!!

Is it finally resolved: The problem with the Flux Capacitor?

Well, my daughters Smart Car has a .83 litre engine and the SRT has
an 8.3 L engine. Her car gets 80 m.p.g. and my truck (if I run it hard) gets 8 m.p.g. so, because it's engine is 10 times bigger, the mileage seems right on track to me.:)

i run cam 2 gt aka. sunoco gt260 and you can tell a difference plus it smells great! its 100 octane. But i also have the mopar performance computer

I heard Clark Howard (radio economist) say that most Americans will curtail there driving once gas hits $4.38 gallon and a little higher out West. I can't stand it when the news predicts what gas will go to. It basically gives the oil companies permission to continue to jack the prices up. Like they need permission or an excuse to do so. Record profits.
What would it take to make my SRT-10 run on solar?

That would be great if everyone curtailed thier driving. I would reduce greenhouse gases and leave more room for SRT vehicles on the road who's drivers for the most part dont give a flying F about gas.

People will always have to get back and forth to work. I think Clark was talking about vacation travel etc.. People will seek R&R a little closer to home instead of traveling to vacation destinations.
