My close friend has had very good luck with his gear-vendors. He bought and installed it about 7 years ago or so. I helped him with the install. It is in a 1969 Camaro with a 434 small block and he runs 10.50's in the quarter and puts probly about 10,000 miles a year on it. He has NOT had one single problem with it. In his opinion it is the single best mod he ever did.

Check out this video from Gear Vendors own website with head honcho Rick driving it, after years and years of practise he even admitted it's delays can't be solved. Listen to the exhaust note.......poo. This is the sole reason why GVs made the new autoshift unit to eliminate this ugly delay. It's 6 minutes into the video where they take it for a test drive, worth watching if you're interested.
