Few things move slower in life than a welder with no deadline.

    Hi Dan:

I wont be needing the Intake after all, and appreciate you reaching out.

    Thanks

The project should be completed by 2030 for sure !!

A one-off sheet metal Intake Manifold for my truck"s engine has a quoted price of over $20 thousand Canadian or 14,000 U.S.

The issue here is it has a fairly low HP/Dollar return.

So, I'll continue my own grand experiment, until it's finished.

The idea is based on the old 413 cross-ram Intake and the design of the Gen II Viper Intake.

    It WILL do "something". :)

How many turbo's can you buy for $15k. That has better HP/Dollar return

Oh definitely, but power adders make it too easy, and are widely available.

I've been accused of having a hidden nitrous system many times.

Way more fun, I think, to pop the hood after a race and show them there aren't any power adders.

    Cheers!

I still can't find the smileys on here so I'm limited to the ones i can remember how to make from scratch!

It could be because I'm using a handheld device. Modern technology :) :p
