Getting Forged this winter

I plan on having the motor gone through and forged this winter. I have been extremely happy with the vendors on this site and would like to use you guys for parts if at all possible.

You need to get the ball rolling. Getting all the parts together can take 3-6 months.

Its a good idea in principle ( group buy on parts) but think about this. How can you expect someone to do a sophisticated engine build using parts that were not supplied by them? If something goes wrong will thay warranty the parts that you supplied, or will it be a reason for them to be held harmless in the event of a problem. This of course does not apply if you are doing the build yourself.

you are much better off getting the parts from the person doing the build, plus you can be sure you pistons will match the bore that way also believe it or not , some bores are different.

but then again, $8500 for one built is a really good deal
