Gonna be hitting the track tonight, if the stinking weather holds out. I went once before to be totally honest, I wasn't proud or impressed. I only got to make 3 passes and I couldn't get the pedal dance just right. Plus it was TnT rounds between actual brackets, so some of the big dogs were making passes and I couldn't hear myself think. And it was first time jitters.
The best I could manage was a 8.9 @ 8x . . . ? (1/8 mile) I forget the actual MPH. I was expecting to run sub 8.50's.
My 60' was like 2.2 or something god awful like that.
What do you guys on stock clutches do? I've got almost 12k miles on the truck and the stock clutch is still going strong, I'd like to keep it that way.
I also want to run the best times possible. There's some folks wanting to see what a Viper Truck can do, I may just have to prove it after the track at a "private test track at an undisclosed location".
Thanks in advance for any and all advice, phuggers.
