Good Cam for Strikers?

I was talking to Dan Cragin and he said the Strikers and cam are a big improvement over the stockers. He has had good luck with the Viper Coupe Cam and these heads.
As far as I know, that cam has the same specs as the stocker but has a greater L.S.A. (overlap).
According to the Strikers flow charts, they really respond to lift.
Anyone with thoughts on this or other cam suggestions?
It is for a daily driver quad cab.

You need to call or pm Joe at PBJ. He has forgotten more about Viper engine cams than most of us will ever know.

Agreed again. Another previous member installed an aggressive cam and J&M stage 3 headers, but had some headers (primarys) and needed to open up his exhaust. Got to do it full circle for all of the gains. Air in, air our, performance with tune will come.

Taliban Dan can also help you with a cam selection. Just PM him or call him. No charge.

Yeah, if he follows these performance threads, I'm sure he knows.

(Unless you're objecting to his use of headers.)

Porting would help a little (easy and relatively inexpensive while it's going back together), but the tune would be a must. I seriously doubt that he would consider these modifications without tuning, though.

It may also be wise to add fuel system mods considering how much more air the engine will move.

Otherwise the Strikers and CCC are a proven combo.

You should get ahold of Exotic Engine Development, one of our vendors, they have a cam specifically designed to run with the Strikers I believe...
