Hey guys, today I had an appointment at a local shop named "Motion Hydraulics" at Brockton, MA. The appointment was at 12pm for window tint. I got the 35% tint for both sides and 20% strip for windshield. They cost it $175 include install service. The window tints are looking great! I love it. I have to wait for 3 - 5 days then I can roll down the window. But unfortunately as I was on the way to the shop. I was getting off the highway, RT-24. I was getting on the exit ramp and saw the "yield" sign. I looked and saw a car coming. I slowed it down to let the car pass me. I looked at the rear mirror and I saw a jeep liberty that came out of nowhere. I could see the fear on the driver's face through the rear mirror. I tried to gas it and she tried to get out of the way but it was too late. Her jeep SMASHED towards my truck. The driver and I are fine and we both switched the insurance information. The damaged is left rear bumper and left tail-light. Th tail-gate is looking fine. I called the insurance today and someone will come to my house to check it out.

From left to right: before driver side window tint, after driver side window tint, before passanger side window tint, after passanger side window tint, before windshield strip tint, after windshield strip tint. The rest of pictures is the damage of the accident.

Yeah I am fine. Thanks guys. I am hoping it get repaired by this week before this saturday. I will have to wait for the insurance to email me to inform me when is the day that insurance person will come to see the damage.

Damn Tyler! Sorry to see this bro! But I am glad you are ok.

They'll have that right as rain in no time! Make sure they use OEM parts!! And get a new fender, not a repair job on that one!!

Was she cute?

The driver? Well...she is a good looking but not cute as what you expect. I am sure you would think she is cute if you met her anwyays. :p :D She looks like she is around early 30s.

Thanks guys for all your warm care about me even if you all don't know who I am nor met me yet but you all rocks!!

Awe for f#cks sake that just sucks!!! So let me get this straight, the dumb braud hits you from the rear as your exiting the highway? Man that really just pisses me off......people need to pay attention. As others have said, its great nobody got hurt, but it still sucks!!!

Demand all new OEM parts as somebody else mentioned.

Tints looks great. It was one of the first things I did to mine. Mount that shiftlight on top of your steering column with some double stick velcro. It'll get the wire outta the way and been a cleaner install.;)

That sucks, Tyler. Sorry man.
The tint looks good though. :)

As others have said, DEMAND new parts. Sometimes the insurance company will say "used parts" or "re-manufactured" parts are okay. DO NOT AGREE TO THAT. You pay insurance for a reason. If they want to go cheap on you, have them lower your rates. :)

With our trucks the parts will most likely be new, but double-check every invoice and ask/remind the 5-star body shop manager about NEW PARTS.

They did my front bumper and fascia in 2 days. Your rear shouldn't be much longer than that.

Good luck!

Sorry to hear that, BUT NEVER EVER leave the scene without a cop. I got so ROYALY BONED because of this it isn't even funny. You want him to write down exactly what happened. Now its your word against hers. she could say you backed up into her!! As stupid as it sounds thats what happened to me. I wanted to KILL that guy.
My 5 cents
Jeff

Hey Patrick, yes you are right about what happened. Well I am thinking about drill a hole next to the oil temp gauge to install the shift light there. The size of shift light's diameter is 1/8. Correct?

Thanks guys. I will trying email the insurance to ask to get the new OEM parts for rear bumper.

Jeff, yes my dad told me the same thing. Always call the polices and never learn the scene without the police's proof. Well another lesson learned for me. Next time if I got another car accident. I will call a cop to show up the scene.
