We had a built (forged, sleeved, CNC ported, custom roller) 1999 Viper GTS in the shop yesterday. A supercharged (10# er) with meth injection and it produced a whopping 335 wheel (385 Dynojet) when it came in. I.O.W. what a stock engine should make.

The poor bugger had been putting up with it for A YEAR. Someone had sold him on an aftermarket fuel injection system (among other things), what a friggin' mess.

Where have all the people that used to give a shit about their work, gone?
There, my rant for the year....but I see it WAY too much, and not just in the high-perf. markets.

If you can find a good shop, treat them right. They seem to be on the endangered species list...
