Got Back from Maxton,NC and it was Sweet!

That is one of the nice things about LSR, they are kinda of laid back to a point, if I had made that last run without asking first, I most likely would have not recieved the record, no time slip and I would have been banned from thetrack for the rest of the year, but by playing within the rules and working with the rules makers and showing them that I could drive the vehicle, I think that is why I got to run it a bit quicker than I should have. Now Silverback, thats why your one of my harshest critics... I always gotta type out the explination for why... You Pain in the Behind Bannana Eater You!! LOL

First off, congratulations. :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

I'm kind of surprised that they gave you a record when the truck wasn't legal. That's usually against the rules.

Now why do you think I'm one of your "..harshest critics..."?:dontknow:

Here are the timeslips from Maxton, Just wanted to make sure you guys could see the hard proof

Sounds like a total blast..............Honestly I would be a little apprehensive to drive that fast having never driven that fast before. I would like to try though...... under those conditions, not on a freeway.

  ;) :D

Just a undying need to understand on my part.

I wish you nothing but the best of luck on your effort.

So let's see. We have America's Strongest Man on the site, you now hold a worlds record for fastest truck, and hopefully in the near future Jack will hold the 1/4 mile record for fastest SRT/10. Not bad for one site is it.

Now you just need to talk Jack or Patrick to update your status to LSR World Record Holder. You earned it.

I need to make sure they don't say world record. Its a Record for the Maxton Monster Mile, might be for the US, need to look at Texas Mile track and the salt flats tracks are most likely faster. I'll have to check and see. And Silver, I just Kid... I really do appreciate the constructive critisim, questions, prods, pushes, queries, needling snide remarks, not quite sure how to take the sharp tounged shots at my manhood, totally meanspirted jabs.... but no really, I appreciate it. Really! No, REALLY!

Pat, You would be surprised, by driving on the track where you know there is nothing coming out in front of you, no oncoming traffic, safty crews in case of some sort of mishap, you kinda feeling this large swelling between your legs, something akin to BALLS!! I was quite happy to find that I had some, wasn't sure till I made the first run, then...BAM! your hooked. You should try it.
