It's a fact, you never know what a lightning is packing, they respond well with very minor mods $1200 and will put it in the high 12's on a good day. My truck has a built motor, very extensive head work ,11psi Kennebell boost, stock tune and stock cats and muffler (to break in motor),ran a 12.6 et at 108.Stock looking ans sounding truck. With my long tube set-up and 3 inch exhaust, i should drop a few more tenths. Going to turn it up shortly to 18 -20 psi and a tune my goal is 10.99. Weak spot of a Lightning is top end most blown rods happen above 100mph and in overdrive.
