got my sct....rain sucks

well i got my sct way faster than i thought it get here, ordered from roe on wed. about 2pm cst sct showed up sat afternoon but i wasn't home to sign for it, any way i went and picked it up at the post office to today and it looked dark out, went home read the directions and when i walked out it was raining cats and dogs, i do know that if i shift into 3rd at 60 and nail it all it does is goes sideways.... then a little scare made me decide to put it up before i killed my self(and my truck) so i called the dyno and they are all booked up so i'm just SOL, guess i'll take it to the track this weekend. and thanks to roe for the extremly fast service.

PS was the sct supposed to come with a cable to attach it to a pc for future tune down loads or is that something you have to buy??

You'll need to get yourself a USB cable to connect to your pc.

i dunno gotta see if they run 1/4 mile on friday, if they do i'll be there but if not i may wait till sat or sunday to go

where can i get the usb cable? i guess roe would have them?

i couldn't live in cali.... might get cancer according to the state you know.... but it's texas so it dosen't rain very much anyway, and we dont' have emmisons testing here YET but i'm sure it's comming

You can probably get the cable it walmart. Hell, I might have one. I need to look at the SCT to see what it needs. USB cables are all the same, except for the ends... different plugs

thanks amtrucker, i'll look at wal mart next time i'm in there, srtbrad what elevation are you at up there? we're about 500ft, houston race way is only like 20ft so i wanna head down there and see what it'll do to the truck

Our second closest and best 1/4 mile track is in Bakersfield CA which is 635 ft above sea level. Our closest 1/4 mile track is in Fontana CA and the elevation is 1121 ft above sea level. The times between the two tracks are .4 sec in the 1/4 for me.
