Back from a cool day at the track and I didn't make a single timed run...
Truckin' magazine called after hearing about my truck while visiting DC Performance...They asked me to join them at LACR (track) today as they were testing the new Diesels...
Very interesting they were testing the New Ford 250 twin turbo diesel, The New Chevy 2500 Duramax turbo diesel and the Ram 2500 with the Cummings...
dyno's, 1/4's, 60-0 braking etc....the Chevy simply destroyed the competition...500+ ftlbs of trq to the wheels...I rode along on the drags and it just walked away from the other trucks and the fit and finish was spectacular...
Then I got recruited to drive for truck to truck pictures down the back roads...and then we lined one of them up against my truck for a 1/4..... ..
Anywho...they took dozens and dozens of pics of my truck for a feature in the October Issue....:rock: :rock:
The cool part was having the track all to ourselves....running the 1/4 backward....burnouts at the finish line etc....btw need to buy new Pirellis tomorrow....
They said they will E-mail a few of the pics...will post when they do...it is pretty amazing to see what a Pro Auto Photographer can do....
