Agree with Raymond about the tranny. That was the only mistake they made, not developing a specific, purpose built performance tranny. In regards to Ralph Gilles, the QC SRT-10 is exactly in line with the purpose of the SRT line, which is to take any production Chrysler/Dodge vehicle and making those vehicles capable of legitimate performance. They made a Neon go from being a 16yr old girl's high school car to being easily capable of 300+fwhp and being generally pretty badass little cars. They took a boring single cab Ram and made it the fastest production truck, then took the workhorse utility QC Ram and made it awesome and capable of still beating any other truck out there. They made the soccer mom Jeep Grand Cherokee into perhaps the second best SRT vehicle after the Viper, depending on your opinion. The list goes on. When I owned a SVT Ford Focus, the number 1 complaint we all had was why the Dodge Neon could get a turbo but not the SVT Focus. To me, SRT's formula is that of a street brawler "Any time, anywhere" they will take one of their production vehicles and make it badass.
