Ok, I bought my new rims at Discount Tire, but had the tires already from TireRack.com. When Discount Tire put them on I told the salesman (Tony) that I needed them road force balanced. He said, "why don't we wait and see how they feel because the RFB is a lot more expensive, if you have any problems bring them back in and I will only charge you the difference." I thought, that's great, sounds good to me!
So, about 4 days after having the tires, I finally get the truck over 50
and I have a shake around 70. I got on the phone and told Tony that something was out of balance somewhere, and reminded him of the deal he made with me. He said, no problem. I told him I was going on vaca for a week, and would schedule something when I returned. Again, no problem.
I took the truck down there about 20 minutes ago, and told him to call me when it was done. He just called me, and told me that it was good to go! He said, "There were a couple of tires out of balance, but the RFB was dead-on, so we are going to take care of the RFB, and there won't be any charge. You can come and get it when you are ready." !!!!
How cool is that!?
Just thought I would share that for the good of the RBC!
