where and how much for black honeycomb grille inserts? Been looking at the silver srt-10 on the oct. 6th gtg w/ the black grille and love it!

Its available right from Dodge, but i'm unsure of the part number. I'm putting one on mine also

Here's the short version:

Remove entire grille.
Lay on table covered with soft towels.
Punch out the center of all the rivets. (If you don't have new rivets, watch where the centers go. They will ricochet all over the place.)
Snap out the old grilles and install new ones. (I put a little WD-40 on the rivet centers to help pop them in easier.)
Re-install grille on truck.
Your Done.

i drilled mine out with a cordless drill. be careful you can go all the way through the grill with a sharp bit. take the nose section off the hood and it is a lot easier. then i just used alunimum pop rivots to put it back in. took like 30 minutes and 2 beers.

thats the way i did mine no drilling i went to the used lot of my dealer and told them i wanted to trade the used sales mannager said thats cool so me and one of the kids that works up there took the grill out of a truck on the lot and switched it with mine:rock:

I asked my Dealer about a set of the black plastic factory honeycomb looking grills and they gave me a set free.

yep i agree the balck honeycomb is the way to go.

IZ can have one out and back in about 15 minutes, all revits accounted for..no horshhhheeeiiit..:rock: takes me about a day of phuugin with it...then I call him.

Isn,t the honeycomb grilles held on by clips,you got to purchase
seperatley...Went to a Dodge dealer it's what he showed me...
Also part # for grilles are 5127735AA Left side
5127734AA Right side
I am also going to install these...Along with blacked out headlights...

black headlights came today. installed them, grill & painted the plastic whodingus's behind the grill & the condenser. and lookin goooooooood. just when ya think this can't truck can't make one walk with any more limp, it does.
the grill itself is held on by plastic revits. i took the time & reused mine. still lost one of them little pins.

very nice. i think its the flat instead of bars that gives it that bit extra.
who me post photos??? first have to take some. fresh tires, wheels cleaned up & cal vue mirrors have to be done first. next weekend probably. just need to figure out how to post photos.
