So I just drove my friends stock 2007 cobra and OMG it's crazy fast!!! It's in a whole other league compared to the 10! The sound the blower makes is awesome!! Now my dream car!

Nice car but like Jack said..dime a doz.....They dont launch well though....several show up at the track and cant get out of the 14s....not because it cant do 12s...it can...they just cant get out of the hole,,

being a fan of the Ram SRT10, or Z06, or GT500

i really dont get the arguement that you wont drive a GT500 because they are a dime a dozen, but our trucks are some how unique...

ram = mustang = corvette

then

Ram SRT10 = GT500 (cobra) = Z06

whats the difference from base model...different engine, body cladding, different seats, different rims...yep.

Well i love 10's, always have but......The new Z06 vette.....is a monster.....I can't think of many cars that can out perform it for the price....My dream car is a 911 turbo (thinking about buying a used one within a couple years!) but the current model Z06 is a close tie with my dream car...I mean, iv'e always wanted a porsche simply because it's a "Porsche" but realistically the best bang for your buck right now in the Z06.......Screw the GT500....Not even close to being worth the price...You can get a used 06+ Z06 in the 50's and stop mostly anything you come across, street and track (road course and drag strip).....

Pretty much stock ...with a few creative bolt on's, but I have never pulled the valve covers off....so when you compare a car that is at least a 1000 lbs lighter initially and has the same advertised horsepower (500) I'd say I'm being fair since I will bet he is still at least 500 lbs lighter as we speak. I will even allow him to use drag radials so it is fair.:rock: And Quadster is comparing his 10 (auto, quadcab, 1500 lbs heavier) to the Mustang so I understand his seat of the pants impression. I'm just having fun in case the Mustang owner gets the wrong impression.... I might be about 2 seconds quicker than Quadster and thats about 20 car-lengths in the 1/4 mile, which would impress anyone if they are used to a heavier vehicle....like I say I'm just having fun , I'm really a nice guy and I wouldn't even take his money.
