Haven't had my truck for long and I started to wondering about the hand brake. When I recently got the truck I once forgot to release the hand brake, and I could drive with out a problem from one parking lot to the next. When I was going to use the hand brake again and noticed I forgot to release it and did a instant facepalm and the shame came...
So do I have a crappy hand brake and need to fix it or can it be a feature/normal that you can still drive away with it locked in when the engine is on... ? -.-
I don't think I went over 15mph ever while it was engaged.
The truck only has 16k miles. And I have never had any issues with the hand brake afaik, this is just something that is troubling my mind...
Also, does anyone have an electronic copy of the service manual for the 05 srt10?
