Well..how are things going?...hmm..
We have had quite a year..last year I was employed, still had my truck, and life was pretty good..Since then I have weathered a whole host of things..Loss of my job, the tumor discovery, removal, recovery, and 2 additional surgeries with 2 more to go..I have lost freinds, gained more, and discovered more about myself in the last 6-7 months than in the last 45 years..I found out I had been married for 5 years and didnt know it..lol..I am, at the ripe old age of 46 going to school to get a degree, something i should have done years ago..
Much is made about change..from my perspective, change is good..Its good to get out of your comfort zone and look at things differently..Luckily, for me, there is one thing that remains constant as I deal with all the changes..I may not have my truck anymore..I may not have a chunk of my skull, or the bones of my inner ear..I may not have a job..but I do have the one thing that keeps me going, even when I dont feel like it..Love...The love of Dianne, who has been there for me through everything that happened this year, and the love of you guys..You have helped me immensely, and I am forever grateful..Thanks again..Soo..tonight, when I am having a cocktail, or 20, I will be sure to raise a glass to all of you..my friends on the forum..Your the best..
