was looking around on there forum and there claiming kills on cobras and alt of other cars and trucks. do these trucks come with a sc? Are they a worthy competator
 
I believe some do come with a SC, stock you will have them for lunch, they can be made to go fast with just a few mods though!!
 
They can change their pulleys just like an L. I ran one at the the track once. He was on slicks and had several mods. He ran low 13's on slicks. Just think of them as a QC L. Can't underestimate them. Pulley and a tune and it becomes a drivers race. Here is a video of the 2 races.

The first year for the HD F150 it did NOT have a SC. Just a normally aspirated 5.4 V8. These were the Extended Cab versions.

I believe the following year they went to a 4 door QC version and it had a DEtuned Lightning SC 5.4 motor. By DEtuned I mean a bit less boost - 340hp vs. 360 Lightning motor.

It's just a pulley/tune away from easily surpassing the stock L's hp, and pretty much every mod that can be done to a L can be done to these trucks.
Obviously the QC is heavier than the Lightning. It's a bit on the gawdy side IMO, but they can be made to move!
 
There are a few in the 11's and are currently working on a turbo setup. Good run FLOW !

They are 340 hp, they run 6psi versus 8psi 380hp on the Lightnings. They were a nice QC option and with just a pulley and tune they can run very well.

Stock HD vs Ram SRT10, it will be ugly. A 400 rwhp one, exhaust, lower crank pulley, cai, and a tune ($1000 worth of mods) would be a good race. Weight requires them to have 15-20 more horsepower over an L to be close.

I sold it last year. I ordered it new in 02. But I do have a buddy here in town that still has his and runs 11.90 on street tires. Ronnie, he would be happy to line up with you.:D
 
There are a couple around here that run mid 12's .....good competition :burnout: , although I havent run into any that I have had trouble with yet ;)
 
The problem I have with my jeep is keeping it hooked up. It only weight 2340 and that Vette Motor puts out too much torque. I can dry spin the rears till I get bored...........But It's Fun In The Mud!!!!:D
