Headlight help

I am taking off these cheapass hid system on my truck and putting oem light bulb back. I took off the whole system and put the oem bulb but the headlights arent working.. What do I need to do? Any help is appreciated

Check if low beams are shorted to high beams. Mine were it was to prevent switching the hids to high or low since they were one beam only

Did you remove the ballast resistors...your headlights are piggybacked to the factory harness..

Go to SoCal Autostyles out of Downey CA. Eddie will help you out.

Make sure you remove everything in between the lamp assembly and factory harness. If the HIDs worked the factory bulbs should work. Post pics of what you have removed and the harness on the truck.

edit* the resistors should be between the factory harness and the head light assembly...last night what I typed made sence, not so much this morn....just like the ring leader said!!!

Ok so i took all this off . I still havent messed with anything on the truck just took off the hid system. Here are some pics

One headlight got messed up so i decided to just put the oem bulbs back

I don't see the part of the hid harness that goes to the factory headlight harness, did you remove that and / or is it not pictured? Can you take a pic of the factory headlamp harness?

Mine did the same when I pulled out the HID kit (looks the same as yours) that's the previous owner installed. The fuses for the head lights were blown. Check all your fuses that run the head lamp circuit. Idk if 04' and 06' have different fuse set up.

I had the same problem. Easy fix but pain in the ass to do.

I ended up just buying a new set of HIDs and putting them back how they were.

Shouldnt you have a different coloured battery? That looks like it came from a faster truck.
